Finally, it's December! Like every other beauty blogger on the planet, I have a Christmas gift guide in the works – but since Charlotte Tilbury’s offerings are the some of the strongest gifting opportunities I’ve clapped eyes on yet this year, I felt it was only fair to give them their very own post.
Easy to choose, easy to use and easy to gift is the premise: we’re talking stocking thrillers not fillers as well as a whole range of trinkets, treats and treasures for all budgets – and it’s all on counter now, at Brown Thomas Dublin and BT2, Dundrum.
Thankfully, for the sake of my bank balance (and yours), it’s the Tilbury Trinkets tier that I’m finding most exciting. Priced from €35, these are glamorous, gorgeous, affordable and fun – but because of all that, they’re sure to sell out fast.
I can’t imagine a single beauty lover who wouldn’t be beside herself with glee on opening up the mini lipstick charms, back this year by popular demand. €40 for three adorably dinky mini lippies in three universally flattering shades: Penelope Pink, Bitch Perfect and So Marilyn red? Yes. Please. Santa. And how perfectly adorable do they look on that tree?
Also in the trinkets tier, €35 will snag you the perfect Christmas party beauty look. Or, er, a fabulous gift for a friend. The limited edition Nocturnal Cat Eyes to Hyponotise sets, €35, combine a sophisticated shimmering eyeshadow with a mini Rock n Kohl liner; the one pictured is The Huntress, a golden bronze partnered with a rich brown amber kohl. It’s incredibly beautiful and comes alive when the light hits it, providing the perfect party eye.
If you’d prefer to gift skincare over makeup, then the Gift of Goddess Skin travel kit, €50, provides a lovely introduction to the brand; packed inside a mini travel suitcase you’ll find 15 ml tubes of Goddess Skin Clay Mask and Wonderglow, along with a 15 ml pot of Charlotte’s much-loved Magic cream.
Finally, if money were no object, I’d be asking Santa for the Lipstick Wardrobe, which contains every single shade in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range – for €285. I'm not sure Santa will agree I need more lipstick, but a girl can dream…
Are we loving?
