I really enjoyed the Clarins demonstration by the joyful Debbie in Debenhams last week. Well we were treated like Queens: prosecco flowed, accompanied with various cheeses and biscuits and fruit.
All the Clarins representatives were friendly, attentive and in high spirits, but Clarins without Debbie would be like an actor without a stage.
Debbie sat in her high chair and had us in the palm of her hand from the get go. She knows her product in detail and she demonstrated it to us like the consummate professional that she is.
Her product was the Clarins Super Restorative Range for older skin. She told us about this magical plant from Madagascar contained in the creams, about its qualities and effects, and about how it is delivering better anti-aging results in trials than retinol. Well I was fully hooked at this stage.
The cream comes in three varieties depending on your skintype and all of them have the new plant extract along with hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C. Then we each had a personal consultation and received our own unique Clarins Beauty Recommendation list - that's my Christmas list sorted.
We tried all the creams; they felt lovely to use and it seemed like my skin was being ironed out. I can't wait to report future improvements as I use my most generous gifts of Super Restorative night and day cream, plus the magical soothing and nourishing serum. Then to top it all off, Eleanor presented me with a hand and arm massage. What a really lovely evening.
Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream is €89.50; the night cream is €94 (both 50ml). Keep an eye on the blog for Kathleen’s full review in January! The products would make an excellent gift idea for your mum, sister, aunty, granny or mother-in-law; check out the range below.
