Shiseido Sheer Eye Zone Corrector Review, Photos
Shiseido’s answer to YSL’s Touche Eclat comes highly recommended: Kirstie loves it, and what that woman doesn’t know about makeup ain’t worth knowing.
But I had one slight concern. I have occasional trouble sleeping, so my dark circles can be quite pronounced. Could something billed as sheer disguise the problem?
D’oh, yes, and rather nicely too, as it transpires: this has a lovely, lightweight formula that distracts from, rather than disguises, my dark circles.
Yes, it’s sheer, but that keeps things looking natural while the light-reflecting formula and colour correcting technology do their thang. There are six shades which should cater for most skintones - I have #102 Light/Clair.
It blends seamlessly into the skin, doesn’t sink into or accentuate fine lines, and keeps everything nice and hydrated throughout the day. There’s no need to worry about caking or creasing and, while it lasts well, it’s also a good ‘un to use for touch-ups on the go.
At €30 it’s not cheap, but it’s very, very lovely, and it’s what I’m reaching for most mornings to help me look more rested and awake. As you can see, I slap it on with a liberal hand and find it helps to contour and highlight in a subtle and foolproof way.
What are you using to neutralise dark circles?
