I could do some serious damage in Warehouse this season. I’ve always liked the brand, but over the past couple of years, its collections have really stood out from the rest of the high-street herd.

Streamlined tailoring, quality fabrics and clever use of structure and texture mean its aesthetic is more similarly aligned to Cos or Whistles than, say, Topshop or New Look. You’ll still find the latest trends, but are more likely to pick up stylish staples that will work for several seasons to come.

The 60s is a big story everywhere for AW14 and Warehouse have obliged with sweet little shift dresses and mini-skirts. From parkas to shearling to faux fur to capes, if you’re after a new season coat, you’ll find it here. Texture is also key with the fluffiest knits, printed or plain leather and PU pieces and the cutest pink teddy bear coat (below, approx. €130).
Colour is also big: there are the obligatory blacks, greys and burgundies that you’d expect at this time of year but you’ll also find plenty of soft, pretty pastel shades – baby blue, lemon and pink all feature – and lots and lots of leopard.
And accessories are stronger than ever: the collection features 33 footwear styles including these gorgeous heeled ankle boots in burgundy or black, and sweet little t-bar flats.

Everything will be in stores over the comings weeks - will you be popping in for a look?
