L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Eye Care Review

L'Occitane is really on a roll. This lovely French brand is a favourite of mine for body treats, fragrance and skincare and, this year, there have been so many new releases I can scarcely keep up!

This eye duo came out in spring and I've been really enjoying using both products together. Part of the Brightening collection, they contain extract from the Immortelle flower, which has proven anti-aging results.

The Eye Care & Mask Duo Brightening Correction, €37, is a moisturising gel-cream that feels lovely on the skin, especially in this hot and muggy weather. The metallic applicator feels fresh and cooling and helps to gently massage the skin as the product is absorbed.

It feels divine on tired eyes, and I love the multi-purpose nature of the product - it can be used as an eye cream, or left on for 10 minutes as a treatment mask. A staple in my on-flight beauty bag, this is a really effective little cream that leaves my undereye area looking smoother, brighter and more rested.
Following up with the Brightening Touch Targeted Corrector, €30.50, helps to seal the deal.

This brush-on, highlighting concealer, a la YSL's Touche Eclat, has an immediate cosmetic effect while also working to correct problems over time. Containing vitamin C and botanical ingredients for brightness and glow, it works really well with the eye gel to treat dark circles and other signs of tiredness and fatigue.

Treating the eye area is an important part of any skincare routine - it's the first place to show visible signs of aging and, without enough hydration, fine lines here can look much more pronounced. If you're in your 20s/30s and want to up the ante with your eye care, this duo would be a brilliant place to start.
