Chanel Sweet Lilac Le Vernis Nail Polish Review, Pics, Swatches

Chanel Sweet Lilac Le Vernis Nail Polish

Chanel Le Vernis in Sweet Lilac launched with the rest of the summer collection in early June. But as one of two limited offerings of the five summer nail shades, it won’t hang around for long.

Incredibly pretty in that chic, elegant and signature Chanel way, this cool-toned lilac lovely, €23, has a cream finish on the nail, though there’s a slight iridescence in the bottle -  meaning it leans more or less lilac/pink depending on the light.

The formula is perfect; in two coats, Sweet Lilac applies smoothly and easily to a nice opaque finish. There’s not a streak in sight, which is no mean feat for this type of pale, pastelised colour, and (worn with my usual base and topcoat) I get several days wear, before any tip-wear starts to show.

But perhaps my favourite thing about this polish? When I’m wearing it, I keep smiling at my nails. My chunky little hands are elevated by its presence – it’s sweet by name, sweet by nature and I’m entirely sweet on it.

And you?
