Summer Favourites, from Chanel, Garnier, Armani, Elemis, Clarins and Bourjois!

I haven’t done a favourites post since April (which you can check out here) but I really wanted to tell you about a new batch of products that I’ve fallen in love with over the past few weeks.

If you live near Dublin I may have told you about these already – they were the focus of my recent Metro Herald column on the best summer beauty.

Summer Beauty Favourites Chanel Garnier Elemis Clarins Bourjois
ONE If you saw this post, you won’t be surprised that Chanel’s gorgeous nail colour Azure is a current favourite. It’s an absolute stunner and the perfect antidote to these grey skies we’re suffering in Dublin right now.

TWO The Garnier 5 Second Blur primer is great – if you get along well with those velvety feeling, silicone based primers like Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, you’re going to get along with this. The silicone smooths over open pores and fine lines, while light reflecting optics create a flattering, soft focus finish.
THREE  Remember I told you all about Armani Diamonds Rose, and how light and lovely I find it? It launched last week so it’s on counter now – go have a sniff for yourself!

Summer Beauty Essentials

FOUR Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream has been given a makeover for its 10th anniversary. It now comes in a gorgeous aqua tub, with a matching velvet pouch. The silver embossed lid is a thing of beauty, and the cream has really impressed me – I noticed a difference after just two weeks. I’ve reviewed it on beaut.ie here.

FIVE Clarins Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Gel is summer in a tube. It’s a seriously sexy, shiny, wet look gloss – it’s definitely not what I normally go for, but it’s definitely stolen my heart.

SIX Of all those gorgeous new Bourjois bits and pieces I've shown you, the cream blush is my favourite piece yet. This shade, Nude Velvet, is a pretty peach that will liven up any complexion. With a matte finish it’s perfect for every day and, at just €10.49, the price is right too.
