BASE: It's interesting that the concealers, foundation and powder I'm favouring right now are all from budget brands - it just goes to show the massive improvements we've seen at this end of the market in the past couple of years. There was a time when I didn't think you could buy a good foundation for under €25, but those days are thankfully over.
I've been seriously impressed by the revamped version of this Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation - it gives a radiant healthy finish and outperforms many at twice or three times the price. It's just €9.99. Collection's
Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer is oil-free, longlasting and
brilliant for blemishes whereas the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer has some
light reflecting action for under the eyes. They're both about €7. Maybelline's Fit Me powder sets everything nicely and is a lovely powder that can be yours for the princely sum of €8.99.
I've also
been loving the new Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl mascara - despite not being a
fan of brown mascara, I've been using the one the brand sent me on a
daily basis. It's €32.50 and come pay day I'll be investing in black - this
baby gives length, curl and definition with no clumps.
CHEEKS: Cheeks
are also getting the Bourjois Healthy Mix treatment with their new apricot
blush, designed to be universally flattering and provide a natural glow for all
complexions. It’s €9.99 and was released this month.

A bleary eyed snap from 7.00am in the morning! |
LIPS: My
Fasia lipstick has rarely been off my lips since the day it arrived from Japan - I'm totally addicted! It's so
flattering yet natural and easy to wear.
What are
you loving right now? Have you tried any of this little lot, or do you plan to?

I have Fit Me powder, and I bought the Dior mascara in brown yesterday! Told you. I really need an intervention on my mascara habit.
Felicity - me too - it's the only product I feel shame about hoarding because it has to be binned after 3 months for hygiene reasons!
Great make up choices! I really want to try that Bourjois foundation but we don't have Bourjois in Italy :( I will get it somewhere else for sure :)
<3
xx
Your Preeeety, I need to try that foundation, I didn't like the serum one though
You look beautiful Emma! I haven't tried any Bourjois blushes but I really like this shade! XX
You look amazing, if this is early morning haha! I love the look of that orange packaged Bourjois blusher! I really love the Naked Basics palette too, it's just effortless xx

I've been using a L'Oreal tinted moisturiser for the past few years on days when I don't really want to put on full make up but need some light coverage
I'm not a fan of Bourjois blushes to be honest. I don't think they spread easily and just kind of sit there.
Do you know if the foundation comes in "incredibly pale"?
So gorgeous, great items!! I really should update my make-up really! I could do with some new colours. Have a great day doll xo
lovely products :)
I love the Fit Me Powder and the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (I can't believe that I nearly didn't purchase it!).
The Healthy Mix foundation looks lovely on you but I have general Bourjois colour matching issues (plus the origional didn't suit me at all!).
I like the look of the blusher - I might just have to try it out!
I want that apricot blush it looks beautiful!
I love your daily look and I should see if they sell Fasia here!

These all look great - I haven't tried any of these but wish they sold Fasia here too - looking at your lips:) My favorite atm is my Ellis Faas mascara - do you know this brand - FAB :)
A
Great recommendations!
I LOVE the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation but sadly it is discontinued in Austria and I don´t know where to get it from without spending more than the retail price just for shipping :(
Until I find something similar, I am using the last tiny bit mixed with Bobbi Brown´s BB Cream in Fair.
Love the daily look - very natural and dewy ;)
Thanks for sharing your faves! That blush color is so pretty on you!

such pretty makeup! thanks for sharing :)
Love your daily look Emma! That blush is GORGEOUS! I've been too scared to try Bourjois Blushes because of the shimmer, but you've changed my mind!
Love this look :)

i haven't tried any of those. I agree with you! Budget items have really stepped up their game. When it comes to beauty products, I don't care how much or little an item costs, only that it WORKS. fab products emma.

I've been using the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum gel foundation for the last few days, and I'm seriously impressed. I've been a bit iffy about Bourjois products in the past and I wasn't really sure what benefits the serum foundation held over the normal Healthy Mix formulation, but I'm really loving it. I didn't have the un-revamped version so I can't compare, but I can only assumed it changed for the better!
I'm a little less in love with the UD Naked Basics palette. It's a nice add-on, but I don't think I'd pick it over either of the original eyeshadow palettes. The shades are a little too same-y for me :(
your blush is lovely!

@Claire, the shade I have is the third lightest and I am the very darkest shade of light, edging on medium, if you know what I mean! So I think the first shade should work if you are very pale xo
Love this fresh look Emma, it's so pretty on you :) I never got on with the Healthy mix foundation, I found it too thick and hard to blend but I love the bourjois 10 hour sleep effect foundation, it's a great light coverage drugstore foundation. I wore it to school for years. I've been wanted to try the healthy mix serum one because I think that sounds like it might suit my skin better.
Love seeing these daily face posts from people!
Emma x
Very nice products; they look great on you!

Yay! I'm so glad you're getting good use out of the lipstick. Japanese "office ladies" always have perfect make-up so a good nude/light colour is a must. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Healthy Mix is a great foundation... haven't tried the rest!
