My Favourite Festive Look: Soft Smoky Eye With A Deep Berry Lip!
Yesterday I
asked about your favourite makeup look this Christmas, your go-to face over the
holidays. Well, this has been mine - quick and easy, but very seasonal with the
bronzey gold soft smoky eye, paired with a deep berry lip. These are
the products I've been reaching for when I haven't had time to play about with
my look - the ones that are foolproof but fabulous!
FACE: YSL Le
Teint Touche Eclat foundation (read my review here) with Becca Shimmering Skin
Perfector in Opal dabbed on top, to highlight, a touch of MAC Blot Powder on the t-zone, and
ArtDeco Glam Stars blusher.
LIPS: My
current favourite lippie, Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte in #107,
teamed with an ARTDECO lip liner from the Dita Von Teese collection in #6. (I've also reviewed Kate Moss for Rimmel in shade #101 here).
Do you have
any of these products, or similar, in your own collection? I'd love to know what you make of them! And I would really, REALLY love to know what you're planning to wear tonight! Will you be in or out? Whatever you do I hope you have an absolutely fabulous New Year's Eve, my lovelies! Catch you in 2013!

I bought this the other day on your recommendation Emma and I love it. I wore it out the other night and it was lovely, it seemed to come out alot darker than your look though, and I think I prefer it a little lighter, any tips on application? I just bunged it on straight from the tube over a little moisturiser.
Love that lip colour...will have to look for that :)) You look stunning...Happy New Year doll...I hope it's a magical one for you & all you wish to achieve gets done!! xoxo
Thanks lovelies hope you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve and that 2013 brings everything you wish for!
Oh and Yvonne - to apply a little lighter just add a light layer and rub your lips together to really work it in - or apply a lip liner first and just dab a little lippy over the top, in the centre of your lips. Hope that helps!
Cheers hun x
The blusher looks fantastic on your skin. Great look Emma!
Wow such a gorgeous look, I adore the lip colour I have been debating getting it myself but never been sure as to whether it would suit my skintone :(

I was just wearing this lippie in work this morning, I love it so much, every time I wear it someone asks what it is, that's the sign of a great colour! Love the look you've created. I did my eyes a lot like this on Christmas, still love the Naked palette. Hope you have a great New Years Emma, I'm staying in and watching a film and drinking wine!
