I absolutely adored everything in last week's beauty bag and I was seriously tempted to use exactly the same products again this week - but where's the sense of adventure in that, eh? I am determined to make a dent in the makeup mountain that lives in my apartment and to let all of my pretty things have their time to shine. Here's what I've plucked from the pile for this week.
EYES: This gorgeous palette is from YSL's autumn collection, Contemporary Amazon, and I especially love the shades of khaki and antique gold. I will be layering those over this Boots No 7 Cream Shadow in Pewter which was a limited edition with last year's 'Modern Minimalism' autumn collection. I'll also be wearing Clinique's excellent High Impact Extreme Volume mascara - I've reviewed this baby here.
LIPS: I showed you one of my new Kate Moss for Rimmel lippies here but I bought three, and it's time to show the other two some love! This week it's the turn of #113, a peach toned nude. I'm concerned it could look a little chalky, but this Armani Lip Maestro in Colour Zero should take care of that - it's a gorgeously balmy topcoat that transforms any lip product into something velvety, pretty and soft.
FACE: I'm enjoying a lighter base product at the moment and this Creme De La Mer Fluid Tint fits the bill nicely, as well as making me feel like a very fancy grown up lady when I wear it. Isadora's Glow Stick in Vintage Rose will pull it all together with it's pretty, dewy finish and sheer bronzed pink shade. (Check out my other favourite shade of Glow Stick here).
What beauty bits will you be rocking this week? Anything you're especially looking forward to wearing? And have you tried any of this little lot here? Do tell!
