Irish Stylist Wins International Visionary Award at London's Alternative Hair Show!

Whoop whoop! Who doesn’t love a homegrown success story? Fluff and Fripperies is delighted to congratulate Irish stylist Michelle McDermott - of Peter Mark, Dundrum Town Centre - who is the first Irish winner of the International Visionary Award at the Alternative Hair Show. Michelle was competing against hairdressers from all over the world and beat off stiff competition from the best creative talent out there – you go, girl!

The Alternative Hair Show was established in London 30 years ago to raise funds to fight childhood leukaemia and to date has raised £8.5 million for leukaemia and blood cancer research projects all over the world.
The winning look, shown here on model Katie Bradley, was a bright red crop which wowed the judges and the audience of thousands. And if this edgy style has inspired you to rethink yours, make sure you check back later for my latest birthday giveaway!

Congrats to her, I would like to swipe those garments ;) Thank you for the sweet comment lovely...oh yes, am American..but I've been here since December 2000, so Scotland has become my second home...I feel Scottish a lot of the times as well, though fiercely American :) But, I adore Scotland and am quite patriotic of it too :) Am from Michigan :))) xx
