Marks & Spencer Autumn Winter 2012 Collection

 

I've mentioned before that I'm always pleasantly surprised by the Marks & Spencer fashion collections, especially the Autograph and Limited Collections - where I've bought several of the most worn items in my wardrobe.

Other collections - like Per Una, for example, leave me cold - so much so that I don't even give them a glance when I enter the shop.

 

 

Turns out that might have been a mistake, if what I saw last week at the M&S AW12 Fashion Show is any indication. The catwalk show featured a strong collection of trends, from gothic romance to military, with many of my favourite pieces hailing from the Per Una collection.

These included a great leather dress, well priced at €215 and a rather fabulous Chanel-esque cardie (that's it in the top photo).

The show also featured  gorgeous graphic prints, mainly from the Autograph collection, military tailoring and statement trousers - from Limited Collection sapphire skinny metallic jeans to Per Una floral print trousers and the gold print lovelies below.

 

 

We also got a good eyeful of Rosie for Autograph, the vintage inspired lingerie collection designed in collaboration with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
