M&S Autograph Beauty Range Review: Ultimate Wear Nail Colour in City Grey; Pure Colour Mono Eyeshadow in Mushroom

Marks and Spencer's Autograph clothing range has lots of fans - myself included - but did you know the range extends to beauty, too? When I came across the inviting looking stand at the Grafton Street store I couldn't resist picking up a couple of bits to try out. I know, I know - I'm not meant to be buying new things, but it's all for the good of the blog! At least that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it...

The first piece that caught my eyes was this Ultimate Wear Nail Colour in City Grey. This was a hard one to whittle down because there were loads of shades I liked, but I was in a neutrals kind of a mood.

The subtle shimmer's what swung it for me in the end - little lilac flecks that are lovely when they catch the light. The bottle is classic and expensive looking but the colours are affordable at €8 each. Wear-time is decent, too - I applied this on Saturday and it's still going strong.

I also picked up this Pure Colour Mono Eyeshadow in Mushroom - though the shade is more like beige than the name suggests. The texture on this baby is unreal! Also €8, it gives many high-end brands a run for their money. It's so creamy and it blends beautifully - I'm liking it as an all over lid colour with a touch of darker colour in the socket.
