L'Occitane Bonne Mere Review: Gentle Body Wash and Gentle Cream

Just launched this month, L’Occitane's Bonne Mere - named after a French saying, expressing kindness - is a gentle, family orientated range. The products come in two varieties, milk or honey, and I was lucky enough to receive one of each - the gentle cream in milk, and the honey body wash.
Both products are a pleasure to use - the cosmetic equivalent of a hug from your granny or being wrapped in a big fluffy towel. The body wash comes in a family friendly 600ml bottle and has a lovely melty texture, gently cleansing and softening the skin.

The Gentle Cream is suitable for hands, body ... and face! That's quite unusual and makes it a very hardworking product that would be handy for using on kids. Me, I've been using and loving it as a handcream; light and spreadable, with this a little goes a loooong way. It's absorbed really quickly and leaves my paws feeling silky and smelling softly sweet. And mildly tingling - like they've just drunk up something really good for them. Do yours ever do that?

I'm really enjoying both scents: comforting and sort of wholesome, they have a similar quality to baby powder (though the products aren't for use on kids under three). They'd be great for parents to have on hand for family use but, since I'm not one, I get to keep them to myself! Huzzah!

Bonne Mere Gentle Body Wash is €26.50 with the Gentle Cream coming in at €17.95. Soap, €4.50, and Creamy Hand Wash, €19.95, are also available.
