I've Been Shopping - New Beauty Bits from Chanel, MAC, Clinique, Revlon and Maybelline

I've been making an effort lately to rediscover bits and pieces in my own make up collection and use up the products I actually own, instead of constantly pining for the latest releases. That said, I have been in a few situations recently that were just irresistible - like duty free, a cosmetics outlet store, and the discovery of cut price Revlon lip butters in Superdrug! So here are a few bits and pieces I've picked up over the past few weeks...

Clinique Clarifying Lotion #2 - I got this at Junction One in Antrim*, after insisting we make a 'quick detour' on a recent trip to Belfast. No ordinary toner, this is an exfoliating lotion for oily skin that has made an improvement when I've used it in the past. It's pretty strong stuff but it's on hold while I'm using my current skincare routine.

Revlon Lip Butters in Sweet Tart and Tutti Frutti - the latest additions to my Revlon lip butter collection, I snapped these up when I spotted them in Superdrug recently (I showed you Tutti Frutti here). Most places in Ireland only stock 7 colours in the range and they're €11.25. Superdrug, a UK company, is the exception - it's carrying 14 shades for €7.45. Score!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze - I own four of these already but this particular shade was calling to me - it looks so versatile! I've yet to use it but I'll let you know how I get on.
Chanel Empreinte Rouge Coco Shine - I picked up this pretty pale nude in duty free on a recent trip to London and I am in love with its soft, balmy consistency. It's a great colour that looks as good teamed with neutrals as it does with a smoky eye.

MAC Beauties Play It Cool palette - Another outlet purchase, this eyeshadow set was part of the Tartan Tales collection and includes 6 cool toned grey and purple shadows - purples are massive for autumn and these ones are so pretty!

MAC Blushcreme in Brit Wit - Now replaced by Cremeblends, this was another outlet buy. I picked it up because of the colour, a dusky mauve shade that will team well with purples as we move into autumn.

Anything you'd like me to review from this little lot? And  have you been shopping lately?

* Apologies, the first version of this post said The Outlet in Banbridge, which is incorrect. Sorry for any confusion!

Nice make-up candy! I haven't been make-up shopping in quite a while as I usually keep a large stock at home. But I have a long list for my next make-up binge ;)

I always love reading your blog Emma because you introduce us to products from the drugstore lines that we've not tried!

These sound like some great products. No lie, you have some pretty nice stuff! I need to just make skin care more of an effort. I have been washing my face twice a day but have only been using moisturizer. I need to step up that part of my routine!
