Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait, Lollipop, Candy Apple: Review, Photos, Swatches and FOTD

Revlon Lip Butters Peach Parfait, Lollipop, Candy Apple

Ok, it's taken me a while, but I'm finally ready to row in with my thoughts on Revlon's Lip Butters. These hybrid lip balm/stick products contain mango butter, shea butter and coconut butter to pamper your pout and are one of the most popular lipstick launches of the year.

Sadly we only get 7 of the 20-strong range here in Ireland. I'm not sure why - we love our lipstick on the emerald isle and I suspect they'd sell bucketloads of them if they gave us the full range - or even the 14 available to our UK neighbours. They're €11.25.

Of the available shades, I've been sent three - Peach Parfait, Candy Apple and Lollipop. We can also get Cupcake, Cotton Candy, Strawberry Shortcake and Tutti Frutti on these shores. (The latter is so popular it's apparently flying off the shelves so if you spot it, pick one up for me would ya?)

Revlon Lip Butters Peach Parfait, Lollipop, Candy Apple

Formula wise, these are fab. They feel a bit thicker than I was expecting, but they're hydrating, comfortable and the three colours I have are all really pretty and wearable. No, the colour doesn't stick around forever but it's a doddle to reapply and you don't need a mirror. And they're very soft, so be careful about twisting them up too far in the bullet - I'd be scared that they'd break on you.

Shade wise, Lollipop is right up my street. It's a blue toned fuchsia with a little bit of shimmer (but no grittiness) that has been welcomed into my collection of pinks (see some of it here!) with open arms. Peach Parfait is the colour Emma Stone wears in the campaign shots - a warm peach with gold shimmer, it's quite sheer and natural looking.

Revlon Lip Butter Swatches

My favourite though is Candy Apple, a gorgeous coral red that gives a really vivid burst of colour that's not too in your face for everyday, thanks to the medium finish. It's really pretty and I can see this having a permanent place in my makeup bag.  I'm wearing it in the photo above.

Have you given any of the Revlon Lip Butters a home? Are you tempted?

If you're thinking these sound similar to the L'Oreal Rouge Caresse lipsticks I showed you last week, then you're right. Check out this post I wrote over on beaut.ie for a comparison of the two brands.

Love the look of Peach Parfait, Sweet Tart is another great one too! Think in the bigger Boots stores they have a much bigger collection.

I gave into temptation and got the Tutti Frutti a while ago! Trying to ease myself away from reds and the orange was a nice change.

I can see myself buying more of them though - they're so great!

I haven't tried them at all - I actually haven't seen them locally, but they look fab! I wish companies would consider Ireland a viable cosmetics market, I'm sick of getting half collections, we want all the pretty things too!

Theres 14 shades availible in boots in Dundrum! I was amazed by the selection as I thought we were only getting 7 shades!

These are the EXACT colours I have Em, I'm not a huge fan unfortunately, they bleed and feather on my kisser

All is not lost though, their Pink Truffle is one of my favourites for a nude lip. The saviour of the collection pour moi xx

Love the colours you selected! I'm such a HUGE fan of the Revlon lip butters. My current favourites include Pink Truffle and Berry Smoothie since they're so wearable on a day to day basis.

You may already know this but I just love these so much (and Revlon in general). I just bought Peach Parfait on Friday and have worn it all weekend, it looks great with Revlon Peony lip gloss over it, it's the perfect everyday shade! Love Candy Apple too, a great alternative to red lippie and you look ravishing wearing it Emma!

I have Strawberry Shortcake - I saw a good few shades in Nottingham but I would like if they had less glitter...will probably pick up some more and I have used my Strawberry Shortcake one *alot since getting it. Looks fab on you...I just might be swayed to get that one! :)

Candy Apple looks gorgeous on you! I bought that color a couple weeks ago, and I love how vivid the color is and how creamy it feels.

Yes! I love them. I was suppose to do a post on them but never got around to it. HaHa They've been in the States awhile and everyone raved about them. I definitely agree with them. Such a wide variety of colors and they make your lips feel really soft.
