I introduced this series last week as a way to shake things up, avoid getting stuck in a makeup rut and use up more of the products I already own - instead of constantly lusting after the new and shiny.
Here's what's in this week's make up bag:
EYES: As a base, I've prised myself away from MAC's Painterly paint pot and will be breaking out Revlon's Photoready Eye Primer and Brightener, which I haven't yet tried. If you've used this, I'd love to know how you got on.
Over that I'll be using the Bobbi Brown Desert Twilight palette - most probably the shades Twilight and Chocolate Mauve, my favourites, along with Avon's SuperShock gel liner in blackberry. I love these eye pencils - I've showed you Golden Fawn before. This Essence mascara in I Heart Extreme volume will finish the look.
LIPS: Chanel's Rouge Allure lipstick in Romantic is a deep rosy pink that, despite being one of my favourite products ever (see why here), doesn't get nearly enough weartime, so this week it's coming out to play. In case I'm not in a lipstick sorta mood every day this week, I've also popped a Dr Hauschka rose gloss into my bag.

CHEEKS: Benefit's Hervana blusher divides opinion. It's not pigmented enough for some and it won't show up on darker skintones, but I like the pretty delicate flush it gives, and I think it will pair well with the understated Bobbi Brown shadows. Plus, the fact that it's not very pigmented means its virtually impossible to mess up - there's no danger of clown cheeks here.
To contour, I'll be using Clarins Bronzing Duo in Medium, with MAC's Mineralise Skinfinish in Porcelain Pink as a highlight.
FACE: I'm hoping Garnier's latest BB offering (Miracle Skin Perfector Oil Free for Combination to Oily Skin, to give it its full title!) will hold up in this nasty sticky heat we're having. My skin is misbehaving again so I will also be using Collection 2000's lasting perfection concealer on blemishes and Bourjois Healthy Mix Illuminating Brush concealer on dark circles. This latter isn't my favourite but I want to use it up.
And that's that for the week to come - have you tried any of this little lot? Let me know what you made of it!

I LOVE this idea!! I've so many products that get passed over day to day - I'm definitely going to give Shopping the Stash a bash!
Avon's Blackberry liner is one of my absolute favourites btw, Hervana as a blusher too, it's so, so pretty x
I am suffering from jealousy again Remm, I have one make up bag - the size of an A5book and it's contents are my lot! every so often the Irish makeup fairy gives me goodies to play with - and I get little affordable hints from your blog (hence I've new moisturiser, eye pencils and lip gloss) but other than that my make up smash up would be pretty lame. ace little article though. Ta much.
