MAC Heavenly Creature Collection: Solar Ray Mineralize Blush, Celestial Kiss Cremesheen Glass Review, Photos, Swatches

MAC’s Heavenly Creature collection has just landed and is only available till the end of August - so I urge you to check it out soon! It’s a really pretty collection featuring nine shimmery Mineralize eye shadows (€20.50), four each of the Mineralize Skinfinishes (€28.50) and blushes (€23), along with five lippies (€17.50), five shades of Cremesheen Glass gloss (€20) and the turbo-charged False Lashes Mascara (€23).

There are also three duo-fibre brushes and a few interesting bits and bobs for skin, too – like Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser (€24.50), Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel (€38) and Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Eye Cream (€36), along with the return (for a limited period of time!) of Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator, €30.

I couldn’t have been happier when these two beauties fell through my letter box. Solar Ray is my favourite of the four mineralize blushes in the collection – although the magenta and gold swirls of Supernova come a close second.

Described a peach and gold melange, Solar Ray is a very soft, flattering, wearable type of shade that’s perfect for fair to medium skintones, or as a peachy gold highlighter on darker skin. It gives a lovely, sheeny lit-from-within sort of glow.

Celestial Kiss pairs perfectly with Solar Ray – a creamy peach with subtle shimmer, this is the perfect gloss to team with a smokey eye. It's my first Cremesheen Glass and I like the formula - it’s creamy, comfortable to wear and isn’t sticky on my lips.
I’ll definitely be checking out the rest of the collection – are you tempted to do the same?
