Most of us feel better with a professional blowdry, don't we? Which is why I almost snatched the hand off the lovely people from Zeba, when they offered me one the other day.
They were celebrating their recent success at the L'Oreal Awards (you know the ones, I told you all about them here and showed you my makeup look here!) where they scooped two out of the four coveted awards. The Maynooth salon won the Irish Tatler Style Award, and the Dublin, South William Street salon walked away with the top prize, the L'Oreal Professional Colour Trophy.
I liked Zeba immediately - you get a feel for a place, and the clean, modern layout and friendly efficiency of the staff are just what I look for in a salon. Add to that some decent coffee, great products - they used the Moroccan Oil range on my hair - and those fabulous chairs that massage you while you're at the basin, and you've got a recipe for success in my book.
The icing on the cake was, of course, the talent of the staff. My stylist was John and he really seemed to get my poor frazzled locks and what they needed. My hair was full of body and movement when he'd finished, and I enjoyed the whole experience so much that I'll be back with them soon, for my colour.
What do you look for in a good salon?
Find Zeba at 60 South William Street, Dublin 2 or at Manor Mills Shopping Centre in Maynooth. Check out the website for more.

You look gorgeous darling! It's such an amazing experience to indulge in some hair saloon treatment! :) I cannot recommend enough Moroccan Oil products! :D LOVE THEM! xoxo
Thank you for your comment! I am now following you ;)
I unfortunately hate salons... Phobia of scissors since a hairdresser cut off half my hair when I only wanted a little trim :( x

Your hair is looovely! It really does look incredibly healthy! I just got mine cut at the weekend and was sooo disappointed so I'll definitely be trying this place next time! I'm sick of paying loads of money for a haircut and then being disappointed :(

Your hair looks fabulous! I haven't found the right salon for me yet.
That sounds like a lovely experience! Your hair of course looks amazing - so lush and shiny. You have gorgeous hair to begin with too.
Before I moved, I love the salon I went - very professional, friendly, and accommodating. I have yet to find a place like that in my new town.
