YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation Review - Five Reasons To Get In Line!

This week, something very, very big is happening in the world of beauty.

On June 28th, as part of a worldwide exclusive, YSL counters at Brown Thomas in Ireland and Selfridges in the UK will launch Le Teint Touche Eclat. It will be available everywhere else from July 14th.

This is the most significant foundation launch in living memory. Twenty years on from Le Touche Eclat, and after 10 years in development, YSL have harnessed the illuminating power of their iconic radiance pen in a foundation.

The world and its mother are set to go absolutely bonkers for this product - and here are just five of the reasons why:

ONE The finish is incomparable with anything else on the market. You get radiance without shine - no easy feat - and an incredibly flattering, luminous and anti-aging effect. In layman's terms? It'll knock years off you.
TWO It'll make life easier, too - or at the very least, simplify your make up routine! It blends in effortlessly, so no tell-tale tide marks here - it's just impossible to get this wrong.
THREE It's undetectable on the skin - finally, a brand has nailed that elusive 'no make up look.' This is partly because there are no powders like silica or talc in the formula - these can contribute to that old fashioned, mask-like effect, and can also settle into wrinkles and lines.

FOUR Coverage wise, it goes on sheer in one layer but add another, and we're talking a medium finish that covers and conceals redness, circles and blemishes, for a naturally flawless, youthful finish.
FIVE The shade range has got to be one of the best on the market today. There are 22 to choose from - but wait! The range caters for three separate undertone variations, catering to all skintones and ethnicities. The colour I was matched to at the launch - Beige Dore BD10 - looked a tad light for me but actually, once on, it's a perfect match.
So, taking all of this into account, the price has got to be a killer, right? Wrong! I was genuinely surprised and impressed to hear this is €38 - so not cheap, but definitely affordable, and great value for the quality of the product.
The brand are also being incredibly generous with samples - BTs are handing 'em out now, and you'll get enough for a 7 day trial, no questions asked. So what are you waiting for?!

I honestly can't stop raving about this - I had thought I'd be in trouble with the volatile oils but no siree - it's soft and comfortable to wear with poifect coverage. J'adore <3

I'm actually allergic to Touche Eclat, so not sure whether this would be right for me. I'm also a fan of Chanel foundations!

Did you hear the craziness about YSL dropping the Y possibly because they hired a new art director? Not sure how much truth their is to that but not a fan.

I've never tried touche eclat! And in foundation form I can only imagine how fantastic it is. Radiance without shine? I like it :) Eur 38 is quite high, that is about $50 USD... Not too bad, only $8 more than my smashbox.

This sounds amazing- I am dying to try it! My only concern is the coverage as I usually go for full coverage, but if they are handing out free trials...
