Travel Beauty: Make Up I Packed For My Trip To Barcelona

Ok, so this isn't, strictly speaking, everything I brought with me. But it's everything I actually used. Maybe, next time, I'll look back on this post and refrain from using at least half of my baggage allowance on toiletries and cosmetics. Maybe...

Read on to see what products actually deserved their place in my case!

I stuck with Origins A Perfect World BB SPF15 Age-Defense tinted moisturiser with White Tea by day (phew, what a mouthful, eh?!), wearing it over my suncream. Unlike some other tinted moisturisers/BBs this provides enough hydration to forego a regular moisturiser - at least on my combination to oily skin. I also like the healthy, beachy glow it imparts.

By night I wanted a little more coverage so reached for my trusty and fabulous Dior BB cream - I raved about it here, and I'm still loving all over this little gem.

Cheeks: I stuck with a quick dusting of this Bourjois Lilas D'or blush - tipped as a dupe for Nars Orgasm - and at night I threw bit of this ARTDECO highlighter and Clarins bronzer into the mix.

Eyes:The Urban Decay Naked Palette is so handy for travelling - all the basics are pretty much covered. By day I used Naked or Smog, and added in a bit of Half Baked and/or Darkhorse at night. I used two eyeliners - the Dr Hauschka duo ended kohl pencil in teal and black, and some evenings I smudged
Avon's SuperShock liner in Golden Fawn underneath my eyes.

Mascara wise, I mostly stuck with Chanel's new waterproof offering, Sublime De Chanel, which I liked a lot, but I also experimented with Clarins' Wonder Mint on one of the days.

I used Clinique's Superfine Liner on my brows and, tragically, this was its last hurrah as it ran out while I was away.

Lips: I've fallen in love with this Korres Lip Butter in Pomegranate and wore it almost exclusively during my trip. It gives a lovely corally pink sheen and feels amazing - read my full review here. But I did break out this Chanel lip gloss in Amour one night, another coral pink, but with pretty gold and iridescent shimmers.

And that's the lot - absolutely everything I wore throughout my four day trip. And Barcelona was fabulous, if you're wondering, I'd go back in a heartbeat. Are you heading off anywhere anytime soon?

I wish I was heading someplace soon :) I have a tendancy to keep my makeup very simple - I've never been one for eye makeup. Mascara, peach blush, and a bright lipstick usually do it for me. Love reading your favs tho :)

That mint mascara looks amazing! As does the Chanel lip gloss, looks like a perfect holiday gloss, love the glittery bits in it! I'm excited to try out these Korres lip balms, I love my pomegranate burts bees so I may get the Korres one when that runs out!

Hope you had a great holiday Emma!

I was in Barcelona quite a while ago, but it's such a beautiful city! I tend to forego quite a bit of make up on holiday, just because I'm too lazy to constantly check whether it's dripped half way down my face!
