May Favourites: A First on Fluff and Fripperies! Feat. Sally Hansen, Dior, Maybelline, MAC, Bourjois, ELF, Liz Earle and The Konjac Sponge
It's hard for me to keep track of whether I've told you about all of the things I'm loving at the moment, so I thought I’d do my very first favourites post. Let me know if you like it – I might make it a regular feature. Here are the products that are currently rocking my world:
ONE : Konjac sponge with Pink French Clay - I reviewed the Natural version of this on Beaut.ie and subsequently got my hands on this version, for tired and devitalised skin. It also comes with red or green clay, or bamboo charcoal - all targeted at a specific skin complaint. This wee sponge has changed the way I cleanse my face and lured me away from my beloved muslin cloths. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out - check out misebeauty.com or beautyemporium.ie. They're all around the €7/€8 mark.
TWO: Dior BB crème - I'm so in love with this. It offers the best coverage of all the many BB creams that I've tried but looks natural and feels featherlight on the skin. It also offers THREE: ELF Studio Powder Blush - The commenters on beaut.ie tipped me off to this amazing little tool, a complete bargain at just €4. It's brilliant not only for powder but for liquid foundation, too - I've already bought another two back-ups!
FOUR: Liz Earle blush and brush - I was so excited about the launch of Liz Earle colour and these are my favourites of the bits the brand sent me. I've been reaching for this Healthy Glow Powder Blush in Coral 05, €18.50, on a daily basis, and I can't decide which I love more, this or the supersoft, best-blush-brush-I-ever-tried (€17.75). I think it's a draw - they're both fabulous. SIX: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri topcoat - I've tried all manner of topcoats and this one hasn't been beaten yet - it's just amazeballs for drying your manicure quickly and preventing chips. I'm down to the dregs on my current bottle but I'll be picking up a new one STAT !
SEVEN: Maybelline Lilac Charm - The one polish I've tried that hasn't needed the Sally Hansen treatment. This gorgeous colour from the Forever Strong Pro Porcelain collection gave me a full week of chip free colour - unprecedented!
EIGHT: Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover - Gimmicky? Perhaps. But this is also incredibly convenient, and gets rid of old nail polish in a jiffy. Even stubborn glitters are no match for this little pot of magic.
Let me know if you liked this little peek into my bathroom cabinet - and tell me what you're loving too, in the comments!

Cute roundup! I find myself getting lazy in the summer months with makeup and usually just sport lipgloss or a bright red lip :)
