L'Occitane Angelica is Like A Long Cool Drink Of Water For Thirsty Skin
I might have mentioned once or oh, about a thousand times that my skin has been a bit problematic for the past year or so. It's oily on the tzone, prone to breakouts round my chin and dehydrated everywhere else. Basically, it's been a right drag and I am always on the lookout for products or treatments that will help.
So when L'Occitane sent me this duo of products they recently added to the Angelica line, it was like they'd been reading my mind. The Instant Hydration Mask and Exfoliating Gel have been part of my skincare routine for the past few weeks and have really helped to balance out my skin.
Angelica is a plant that's naturally brilliant at hydrating and this L'Occitane range is designed to rehydrate and revitalise the skin. Both products have a fresh and delicate scent and a lovely light texture, making them really pleasant to use.
When your skin is dehydrated, exfoliation is such an important step. I love using facial scrubs and the Angelica Exfoliating Gel is one of the nicest I've tried. It has the most amazing cushiony, velvety texture that sort of melts on to the skin, where the tiny exfoliating particles, made of natural gum, can get to work to gently remove dead skin.
The mask has also worked wonders with my poor old thirsty skin. In just three minutes it delivers hydration and comfort, leaving my skin feeling fresher and plumped up. I sometimes leave this on overnight and my skin is soft and glowy come the morning. Result!
At €31.50 for the mask and €22.95 for the scrub these aren't cheap, but they are lovely and effective products that have made a noticeable difference to my skin. For dehydrated skin, I would highly recommend.
