Clinique Chubby Stick in Chunky Cherry, Plus News of New Colours In The Range!

Clinique's Chubby Sticks have got to be one of my favourite products from the brand. Shaped like a chunky crayon, these colourful balms are the cutest items of makeup around. The names endearingly play on the chubby theme - think Fuller Fig, Whole Lotta Honey or my current favourite, Chunky Cherry, seen in the pictures above.
They're great performers too, adding moisture as well as a sheer, but  (moderately) buildable, wash of colour. The formula is a nourishing blend of emollients and antioxidants like shea and mango seed butters with jojoba seed oil, and the packaging is clever as well as playful - just twist the base to reveal more product.
So I was delighted with the news that Clinique are doubling the current range by introducing a further 8 shades, from nudes to oranges, pinks, fuchsia and violet.

The new shades will include:
  • Bountiful Blush
  • Heaping Hazelnut
  • Oversized Orange
  • Curvy Candy
  • Mighty Mimosa
  • Voluptuous Violet
  • Pudgy Peony
  • Two Ton Tomato
Clinique Chubby Sticks are €19.00 - the new colours will be available nationwide from June 1st. I can't wait to get a look at Oversized Orange and Voluptuous Violet up close! Will you be paying any of them a visit?

The new colours are great, more vibrancy and fewer neutrals which rounds out the range nicely! Plus they are so handy for keeping in pockets and handbags for top ups.

I've never tried this type of product and mainly just buy skincare but not so much cosmetics from clinique. Their colours in the US tend to suit fair skin ladies but I definitely want to check this out.

@ElsaD it's not a silly question at all! Lots of lip products can also be worn on the cheeks and vice versa but I don't think this would really lend itself well to it, I can't see it blending in too well... xo
