Artdeco Colour Mania Collection Shows Brights Are Surprisingly Wearable! (With FOTD)

I had a lot of fun with beauty blogger and makeup maestro Sarah Lanagan recently, playing with Artdeco’s Colour Mania collection.

Sarah created a great statement look using most of the colours in the collection - head over to Beaut.ie to take a look. But she also showed me that strong, bright colours can actually be used to create a look that’s pretty wearable - so keep reading if you’re interested in seeing how you can make brights work for every day.

Et voila! This more wearable look than the one featured on Beaut.ie features Artdeco Kohl Liner in Black, eyeshadow in Gloriously Blue, Festival Yellow and Green Algae, lipstick in #492, Magenta Mania, and blusher in #70, Pink Exposure - all Colour Mania collection. For more details on the products in the collection, see here.
Colour Mania will be out next month, and the good news is that it’s now much easier to get your hands on Artdeco products nationwide. New counters are being rolled out in the following Debenhams’ stores: Henry St, Blanchardstown and Tallaght in Dublin, Mahon Point in Cork, Newry in Down, Rushmere in Armagh, Tralee in Kerry and Limerick. Existing Artdeco counters include Debenhams Waterford and Cork Patrick Street.

Do you find yourself wearing more colour as we head towards the warmer months?

This is definitely how I would wear such bright colours, otherwise I'd be afraid I'd end up looking like a clown! This would be a fun Summer look!

I always want to wear more colour but find I’m unsure of how to create something that doesn’t look like I’ma three year old who has been playing in her mum’s make up box! This looks really pretty for a fun Summer look.

You look lovely, the bright colours look great! I'm usually a lot less daring than that though!
