I've never baked a cake in my life, but I kinda think I might get round to it one of these days - if only to make use of this charming cake stand that himself's lovely mother gave me this Christmas. But until I get my bake on, I had a little brainwave and have used it to display these pretty Spring-like colours from my nail polish collection, the rest of which is living in my fridge. I hope that having them out in the open will encourage me to make use of them over the next few weeks.

Ah that's cute! It's definitely a good idea to have a few things out on display to remind your self to use them - you can change them with the seasons too:)

This looks amazing! I was looking for a way to display my nail polishes, and my granda came up with the best solution for me. He painted an old spice rack and attached hooks to the end, so now I can hang my bag of dotting tools/hand cream etc off it. I'm on the lookout for another one before my collection expands any more!
