I’ve been clinging to summer for the last little while, refusing to let it go and admit that the season has passed. But on first glance at these stunning images for the new YSL ‘Noir Couleurs’ collection I silently bid summer adieu, and welcomed autumn/winter with open arms. Because this moody and utterly captivating line has nothing light or sunny about it: the collection is made up of strong, deep, dark variations of black. As the man himself (apparently) said:
“There is not one black, there are blacks”
Comprising mascaras, eyeliners and nail polish, the collection includes:
- Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking in 6 shades: Deep Black, Ashy Black, Bronze Black, Sea Black, Cherry Black and Jade Black.
- Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils Shocking – a bold felt-tip eyeliner pen in Black
- Three new variations of La Laque varnish in Black Bronze; Black Lapis and Black Indigo

There will also be several shades of Effet Faux Cils cream eyeliner and I'll add that info when I have it.
Prices will range from €20 (for the nail polish) to €31 (for the mascara and felt-tip liner), with the cream eyeliners coming in at €28 – and an additional €28 for the brush.
The ‘Noirs Couleurs’ Make-up Collection will be on counter from September 21st.

I'll wager that's Black Indigo and it is stunning but I would love to see Black Bronze up close and personal, from the sound of it I think that might be my favourite of the three.
Love the look of this collection, looks fab but ouch the cream liner is dear if you have to buy the brush too!
