Perfect Pairs: co-ordinating fingers and toes from Chanel

I love nail art on other people but it doesn't look or feel right on me - I think I'm probably just that little bit too old for it these days. So I was delighted when an email pinged into my inbox with a very wearable nail trend from Chanel. They advocate mismatched but co-ordinating fingers and toes in 'elegant, playful and surprising duos' like this look below, using Black Satin and one of my personal favourites, Particuliere. The best thing about all this is that I already own both of these colours, so I'm good to go! You're bound to have several killer combos already hanging out in your collection. What shades do you think make the perfect match?

Sadly these legs ain't mine: picture courtesy of Chanel.

I LOVE when nails are not the same colour. I think is so chic!

The new Dior ones that are out would work well too - but i am a fiend for doing red toes and pink nails :)

@Lilac Fashion I completely agree!

@Sarah Red toes and pink nails is a winning combo alright. I'm rather fond of greige fingers and coral toes at the moment but will be trying out the Black Satin on my toenails very shortly!

ah... conversations that make me wish I didn't bite my nails and that I had looked after my feet better the last 29 years. i remember the excitement in my office when greige came out. I just wanted to wear gloves to hide me mits! boo

right now I'm wearing coral on my fingers and tows but with a grey accent nail on each hand, but I love beige nails and chocolate brown toes all winter long
