NEW! Creme Prodigieuse line from NUXE

See that unassuming little blue flower up there? That’s the blue everlasting flower, the emblem and key ingredient in the new Crème Prodigieuse range from Parisian brand NUXE. Evolving from their bestselling Huile Prodigieuse,  a dry body oil with a rake of celebrity fans like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Irish beaut.ie co-founder Aisling McDermott, this new line contains just four products: two day creams (for dry and normal-to-combination skins), one eye contour cream and one night cream.

Intended for women of all ages, the range is the product of 10 years of research on anti-oxidation and meets two fundamental skin care needs: daily anti-fatigue and moisturising action, combined with protection against oxidative stress (this is those nasty free radicals you’ll have heard about, that cause damage to the skin in the aging process). It does this by teaming everlasting blue with other active ingredients including vegetable glycerine to moisturise and blue agerate (another flower) and cocoa to re-energise the skin.

L-R: Eye contour cream, day cream, night cream

I haven’t roadtested mine yet but I can tell you that they smell sublime and have really lovely textures that felt amazing when I tried them out on my hands. The prices won’t break the bank, either – these come in at €23 for the day creams, €24.50 for the night cream and €18 for the eye cream. If the success of the Huile Prodigieuse is anything to go by, I expect these products will soon develop similar cult status.
Have you tried any NUXE products and what did you think? Would you give these a whirl?

I haven't tried these but will definitely be having a looksie at them. I love the sound of the day cream for dry skin.

I get rather flummoxed when I look at a range of products that have a potion fit every skin ailment - I just want a freaking moisturiser!!! so, a range of just four sounds perfect for me and affordable ... ten points!

I love that the range is so simple too with just the four items, makes life so much easier! They sound great. Have you tried the original oil? I'm confused by body oils. Love to know what you thought.

Thanks everyone! Paula, I didn't try out the day cream for dry skin but if it's anything like the night cream it will be seriously nourishing. Also, it will smell wonderful!

@Sara yup, a smaller range of products definitely makes life simpler, which is what the brand were going for with this line.

@Mandy, I haven't actually tried out the oil but if you click the link above you'll see Aisling's review on beaut.ie.

I've heard of this brand but haven't had the chance to try any of their products yet unfortunately - but like most of the other ladies who've commented I'm also a fan of smaller ranges. Let us know how you get on with them Emma!! x

I haven't tried these specific products but am a huge longterm fan of Nuxe. I've tried quite a few of their products but my faves were the Creme Merveillance moisturiser and the 3 Roses cleansing water, both of which I've repurchased many times!

GUTTED.COM that I missed your giveaway - dur!
