Best in Beaut.ie Awards in association with West Coast Cooler

As no doubt you’re all aware, last night saw the inaugural Best in Beaut.ie Awards in association with West Coast Cooler, and a truly wonderful night it was too. I spent the evening in a state of heightened excitement, surrounded by familiar faces from the internet and delighted to be part of what was a fabulous, fun and genuinely inclusive event.

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe Beaut.ie founders, the McDermott sisters: not only are they gorgeous, hardworking and talented but they’re also incredibly kind and supportive to the growing community of Irish beauty bloggers to whom they serve as a daily inspiration.

The awards were entirely reader-voted and drew more than 70,000 votes across the two-stage process.  While there were a few surprises in the mix I was thrilled that my favourite Liz Earle cleanser and Sally Hansen nail products scooped the top awards in 2 of the 48 categories – you can read the full list of winners here and of course, check out the full write up on Beaut.ie.

Thanks also to the Presence PR girls who were charming and professional as ever, to the lovely West Coast Cooler folks who kept us well supplied with Original, Rose and Citra bubbles and to the staff of the ultra-stylish Dylan hotel who hosted the evening.
