A Silly Little Wish*: Beauty Wish List, July 2011

Image from freephotos.se, a godsend considering that my camera broke at the very start of my recent holiday :(
I’ve finally collated all of my various wishlists from assorted notebooks, my laptop, magazine tear-outs and the backs of envelopes. In an ideal world, here’s what I’d be stocking my bathroom shelves with…

Hair
  • Kiehl’s argan oil
  • Schwarzkopf Osis Dust It Mattifying Powder
  • Oh, and a fabulous cut (I’m on the look-out for a new hairdresser; any recommendations?)
Skincare
  • Aldi Lacura Wrinkle Stop Filler Pen & Serum
  • Oilatum Natural Repair face cream – have been wanting to try this out after hearing the Pixiwoo girls rave about it.
  • Benefit b.right! Refined Finish Facial Polish
  • StriVectin eye cream (apparently costs mega bucks, so this could be just a pipe dream)
Eyes
  • Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place ShadowCreme
  • MAC Eyeshadow in Sumptuous Olive and/or Greensmoke
  • MAC Painterly Paint Pot
  • New Clarins mascara – I thought I read (on beaut.ie maybe?) about a new mascara offering from this brand but I can’t find any info on it at the moment. If I just dreamed it up then I would be more than happy with another tube of their Wonder Perfect Mascara, which is my current fave.
Nails
  • Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Fairy Teal and Yellow Kitty
  • Estee Lauder Pure Colour Nail Lacquer in Metallic Sage
  • Chanel Le Vernis in Graphite/Quartz/Peridot (love them all, but out of necessity will limit self to one)
Lips
Treatments

*I thought I'd share this sweet little poem, while I'm here
A Silly Little Wish
I looked up.
I saw a shooting star,
I saw a shooting star in the dark sky.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you.
I looked down.
I saw a penny,
I saw a penny on the gravel.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you.
I looked to the right.
I saw birthday candles,
I saw birthday candles on a lavender cake.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you.
I looked to the left.
I saw a dandelion,
I saw a dandelion on the lawn.
I made a wish,
I made a wish to be with you.
I look straight ahead.
I see you,
I see you right here in front of me.
I made a wish,
I made a wish and it came true.

Have you tried out anything on my list? And what’s on your own beauty wish list?

The osis powder is amazing, I can't live without it. It's really great for last minute night-out hair but do use in small amounts, it's so strong. Love Revlon Just Bitten, until mine broke and covered everthing in my bag in red...until then though, it rocked!

That's some list! I've never heard of some of these products. But I guess that's why I read your blog! Lovely lill poem.

Osis matte it powder is brilliant - you can get it it Drury St beauty supplies for about €10, and I can highly recommend Jacqueline Faye in Kazumi Salon for a super duper fashionable (and flattering) hair cut. x

Thanks ladies!

Ciara, I am totally buying that hair powder, and soon.

Clodagh, thanks!

Sarah, thanks for the recommendation, I will be paying them a visit soon.

Kirstie - noooooo! I love that product! Better stock up, and pray that the new one is as good on my stubby little lashes...
